Where task names show when allocating time to claims and invoices

Invoice Allocated To shows task and deliverable; claim inclusions and allocate pickers use accordion headings or task subtitles; PDF Export PDF Report has Display tasks (not the same as claim Allocated To).

Task names appear in different places when you allocate time to an invoice or progress claim. This article lists where they show today so you know what to expect on each screen.

Invoice Allocated Time

On an invoice, the Allocated Time table includes an Allocated To column. That column shows the task and deliverable the time entry is against.

Progress claim inclusions

On a progress claim, included billables sit under each deliverable or task accordion (depending on whether the project claims at deliverable or task level).

Inside each accordion, the Billable Time Included table shows Staff, Date, Duration, Role, Description, Rate and Total. It does not include an Allocated To column on each time row. The accordion heading is the claim item (deliverable or task); that is the task cue for those rows.

There is no setting today to choose whether claim inclusions show the task name, the deliverable name, or both. Labels come from that accordion grouping, and from task subtitles in the allocate picker.

Allocate pickers on claims and invoices

When you add times to a claim item or allocate times to an invoice, Drum shows the task name as a subtitle on each row in the picker. Neither picker adds an Allocated To column.

On a deliverable-level claim, that subtitle is the per-row task cue while you select entries.

Claim summary versus invoice line buckets

The claim screen footer and Preview Claim Document roll time-and-materials into a TOTAL and, when T&M items are present, a single T&M summary row. They do not break the claim summary down by task the way separate invoice lines can.

When you convert a claim to an invoice and choose one invoice line per claim item, the invoice gets one line (bucket) per claim item. That is how you get separate buckets on the invoice for each deliverable or task claim item. The claim preview itself stays on TOTAL / single T&M.

PDF Time & Cost reports

Separately from the allocate screens above, invoice and progress claim Export PDF Report windows include a Display tasks checkbox (alongside Display deliverables). That adds a Task column on the PDF Time & Cost Summary Report. It is not the same as an Allocated To column on claim inclusions — claim inclusions still have no Allocated To toggle.
