Overview:
Your timesheet in Drum is where you record the time you spend working on projects each week. This article walks you through exactly how to open it, what you'll see when it loads, and what the different parts of the screen mean.
Whether you're a team member logging your own hours or a manager who needs to check someone else's timesheet, this guide covers both.
Who is this for?
● Team members who want to log their own time
● Team leaders or managers who need to view a team member's timesheet
● Support agents helping a user access or navigate their timesheet
How to Access the Timesheet
In this guide, you will learn how to access your timesheet in Drum quickly and easily. Follow these instructions to view, manage, and track your time accurately.
Access the timesheet by clicking on the “Time” option in the top navigation bar.
This is available to all users. Clicking it will take you directly to your personal timesheet.

If you only see your own timesheet option, click “Time”; that's it Your personal timesheet will open automatically.
If you need to view another team member's timesheet, click “Time”, then select “Personal” to view your own, or “Staff” to access others.

What You'll See on the Timesheet
Once you've opened the timesheet, here's a breakdown of what each part of the screen means:
The Weekly View
The timesheet always opens on the current week by default. The week runs from Sunday to Saturday, with each day shown as a column across the screen.
Refer to the screenshot below for a visual guide
Daily Hour Totals
At the top of each day's column, you'll see the total hours logged for that day. This updates automatically every time you add, edit, or delete a time entry.
Weekly Summary
On the left-hand side of the timesheet, to the left of the day summary's, you'll see a weekly total — this shows how many hours you've recorded across the whole week for all time entriies.
This makes it easy to check your total logged hours at a glance, without having to add up each day manually.
💡 Tip: Always check you're looking at the correct week before making any changes. You can move between weeks using the Previous Week and Next Week buttons above the timesheet.
Who Can See Which Timesheets?
What you can view in the Time section depends on the level of access your account has been given. The table below explains this:
User Role | What They Can See | Navigation Path |
Regular User | Their own timesheet only | Time |
Team Approver | Their team members' timesheets | Time → Personal (own) Time → Staff (team) |
Admin / Manager | All staff timesheets across the business | Time → Personal (own) Time → Staff (all) |
⚠️ Important: If you expect to see a Staff option but it's not showing, your account may not have the right permissions set up. Contact your Drum administrator to check.
Helpful Tips
💡 Tip # 1: Check the week shown at the top of the timesheet before adding any time. It's easy to accidentally log time on the wrong week.
💡 Tip # 2 : Review your timesheet entries regularly not just at the end of the week. This helps avoid missing time or logging inaccurate entries.
💡 Tip # 3: If the Time option doesn't appear in your navigation bar, your account may not have timesheet access enabled. Reach out to your administrator or support team.
