How to use Search Everything

Open the top nav search, see what it finds today, and how to land on a purchase order.

Written by Ben Walker

Use Search Everything (the Search Drum box in the top navigation) to jump to records across your account. Type at least four characters, then choose a result.

Open search

  1. Find the search box in the top navigation. Its placeholder is Search Drum.

  2. Type a name, number or other identifying text (four or more characters).

  3. Select a result to open that record.

What Search Everything finds today

Results can include:

  • Projects and opportunities

  • Companies (including suppliers)

  • Contacts

  • Locations and addresses

  • Quotes

  • Invoices

  • Credit notes

  • Costs

  • Contracts

  • Purchase orders

What you see also depends on your permissions. Timesheet-only users do not get this search box.

Finding a purchase order

For purchase orders, Search Everything matches the PO number, name and reference. Results show as a PO row with the number (when set), name and project context.

You can also open an order from the project Costs tab, or search across projects in Insights (including by supplier). See How to find a purchase order.
