WHAT IS A RESOURCE?
A "Resource" is an asset such as (equipment, contractors, staff members) to be utilised within Drum for the purpose of scheduling workloads, making calendar bookings, recording work in progress and tracking costs and billables.
A Resource:-
Can be linked to a User Account;
Can be booked in the calendar;
Can have it's own unique cost and billable rate. If not, a Resource is not allocated a unique cost or Billable Rate, the cost and billable rate will default to that of the assigned Resource Type.

QUICK STEPS
Navigate to https://app.getdrum.com/;
Select "Other" from the top navigation pane.
Select "Resources" from the drop-down;
Select the "Add a Resource" button;
Select "Name" and enter the name or identifier for the new Resource;
Optionally, select "Code" to add a unique code or label for the Resource;
Select "Description" and enter the job title (for staff or contractor) or details (for vehicles or field equipment);
Select the relevant timezone;
Select the relevant Public Holiday Region;
Optionally, select your User from the "Associated User Account" drop-down. This will only apply if your Resource has an active User account which is not assigned to another Resource
Optionally select "Default Resource Type" from the drop-down. This Resource Type will form the default cost/billable rate for your Resource, unless they have a unique cost/billable rate.
Optionally select the drop-down "Nominate Resource Types Eligible for this Resource" and select additional Resource Types for this Resource.
Select the bookable checkbox if this Resource is to be bookable in Drum's calendar;
Select "Save Resource" Button;
