When your Drum account is connected to MYOB, you can refresh tax rates from the tax rates page. Use this after tax codes change in MYOB, or if a code you need is missing from invoice or cost line pickers.
Before you begin
Your Drum account must already be connected to MYOB. You need permission to open finance settings (tax rates).
Sync MYOB tax rates
Open Settings, then open Tax Rates (under finance settings).
Select Sync MYOB Tax Rates.
Wait for the success message that tax rates were successfully synced with MYOB.
Check the list for the codes you expect, including GST-related codes and any purchase-only codes such as import duty, withholdings tax, or no ABN/TFN.
Drum imports active MYOB tax codes and updates matching rates already in your account. On first connection Drum also imports tax codes automatically; use the button whenever you need a fresh pull.
If the sync fails
If Drum shows that the MYOB connection was not found, reconnect MYOB from Integrations and try again.
If Drum shows that it failed to sync tax rates with MYOB, wait a moment and try again. If it keeps failing, check the MYOB connection is still authorised, then contact Drum support with the time you tried.
