How to manage project and sales opportunity templates within Drum

Key Steps

  1. Access Customization Options:

    • Click on the initials or profile picture in the top right corner.

    • Select the customization option.

  2. Manage Project Templates:

    • Scroll down and locate the project templates under the template subheading.

    • View existing baseline templates for project and sales requirements.

    • Customize baseline templates for project number generation, project statuses, project processes, custom fields, and default booking requirements.

  3. Manage Sales Opportunity Templates:

    • Access the sales requirements option under Project Templates.

    • Define number generation, statuses, processes, custom fields, and bookings for sales opportunities.

  4. Add Additional Templates:

    • Customize and add more sales or project templates as needed for specific job types.

  5. Modify Existing Templates:

    • Click on the template name to edit.

    • Define project processes (stages or phases), allocate time, costs, and potentially budgets.

    • Add custom project fields unique to the template or job type.

  6. Define Processes:

    • Under Fundamental Data, access Processes to manage stages or phases applicable to multiple project templates.

    • Create processes once and allocate them to multiple templates for efficiency.
